Dr. Caroline Kilian is a Radiologist specializing in breast imaging.Breast imaging is a subspecialty of radiology that involves imaging of the breasts for screening or diagnostic purposes. There are several methods of breast imaging that are employed, using a variety of technologies and Dr. Kilian is fellowship-trained to specialize in these techniques and modalities.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Arizona, Dr. Kilian completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Kilian pursued fellowship training in breast imaging also at UCLA, in their Department of Radiology.

Dr. Kilian is passionate about women’s health and the early detection of breast cancer through screening mammography. She has been involved in community events in efforts to educate women and other practitioners about the importance of breast health. Throughout her academic and professional career, Dr. Kilian has been an active volunteer for both healthcare and animal welfare organizations.

In her free time, Dr. Kilian enjoys competitive swimming, having spent much of her life as a swimmer, including competing in the trials for the USA Olympic swim team and representing the USA at World University Games. She also dedicates her free time to all activities involving her young son and family, health and fitness, travel, classical piano, and working as an animal rescue volunteer.

Dr. Kilian brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to add to our model of comprehensive women’s imaging, and she is committed to providing patient-centered, comprehensive care to all of her patients at Arizona Diagnostic Radiology.
