Dr. Rebecca Broderick Rodie is a Radiologist specializing in breast imaging. Breast imaging is a subspecialty of radiology that involves imaging of the breasts for screening or diagnostic purposes. There are several methods of breast imaging that are employed, using a variety of technologies and Dr. Rodie is fellowship-trained to specialize in these techniques and modalities.
Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Rodie earned an M.S. in Genetics from the University of Arizona Cancer Center, going on from there to earn her medical degree (with honors) from Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire. Dr. Rodie returned to Arizona to complete a residency in diagnostic radiology at the esteemed Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix. Dr. Rodie pursued fellowship training in breast imaging at Maricopa Integrated Health Systems/Maricopa Medical Center, also in Phoenix.
Dr. Rodie has a wide range of experience, including several years as a decorated Major in the United States Air Force, where she was Chief of Breast Imaging and Radiology. She has published several research articles in various peer-reviewed journals, and has presented at medical conferences.
Dr. Rodie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to add to our model of comprehensive women’s imaging, and she is committed to providing patient-centered, comprehensive care to all of her patients at Arizona Diagnostic Radiology.
