How the EBCDTM Process Works
Step 1: 3D Mammogram Screening
Your visit begins with a high-resolution 3D mammogram, performed using the same leading-edge imaging technology found throughout Arizona Diagnostic Radiology’s breast centers.
Step 2: AI-Enhanced Image Review
Following your scan, AI technology analyzes your images to highlight areas that may require closer evaluation, helping radiologists identify even subtle or early-stage changes.
Step 3: Expert Radiologist Interpretation
Our fellowship-trained breast radiologists review every mammogram in detail. The AI system then performs a secondary analysis, providing an additional layer of assurance and precision.
Step 4: Second Opinion
Certain exams with suspicious findings are reviewed by a second radiologist for determination of final results.
Step 5: Results and Follow-Up
Your results are sent directly to your referring provider. If additional review is recommended, your exam is evaluated by a second breast imaging specialist to confirm findings and ensure complete accuracy.
